Justin Bieber Leads 98 Million Instagram Followers in Worship

Singer/songwriter Justin Bieber sang a heartfelt rendition of the worship song “Reckless Love” on his Instagram story
Monday night.

“Oh, the overwhelming, never ending reckless love of God. Oh, it chases me down, fights till I’m found, leaves the 99 …

There’s no shadow you won’t light up, mountain you won’t climb up, running after me,” Bieber sang.

The song was originally written by Corey Asbury , a worship pastor for Bethel Music.

Yet, its message of God’s deep love for his creation was
enough to make Bieber ditch his usual pop tunes for a moment of worship.

This is the latest example of how the singer has turned his large social media platform into a pulpit. A source close to him says his next album, which is expected to be released late this year or in early 2019, is going to focus on his faith.

A source close to the singer told The Sun : “He has always been religious but the last two years have seen him grow closer to the Hillsong Church and it has changed his entire life. He has a totally different outlook now.”

“After he finished his last tour he really wasn’t interested in recording any music for a while,” the source also said.

“But his time with the church has revitalized him and although he is working with a lot of the same people who helped to make his last album, Purpose , he is reshaping his sound so it is more in line with the church’s values and beliefs,” the source was quoted as saying, “There are key themes of love and redemption in the tracks he has created so far. It will certainly surprise some fans.”

In the meantime, Bieber has been using social media to share the gospel with his nearly 100 million Instagram followers.

And on Easter weekend, he told his followers “Jesus has
changed my life.”

“Easter is not about a bunny, it’s a reminder that my Jesus died on the cross for my sins and then rose from the dead defeating death! I believe this happened and it changes everything! I am set free from bondage and shame. I am a child of the most high God and he loves me,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

Bieber has been vocal on social media about reconnecting with his faith over the last two years; the music in his next album is expected to reflect the redemption he’s experienced.

Because You Have Money Doesn’t Mean You Are Successful – Wilson Joel | @wilsonjoel

According To Wilson Joel:

What this thing(Money) will cause in our generation!

Don’t mistake social media followership as proof of success

Because people are screaming your name today don’t mean you’re successful ~ Being popular & fulfilled is never the same

The most frustrated and depressed people are found amongst the very popular folks

In fact let me shock you, because you have money [lots of it] doesn’t mean you’re successful

Success is a life so fulfilled that money is the last thing on your mind. It’s the least thing that can control you

By all #LEGIT means Get #MONEY dont let it get you because #IMAGE IS ACTUALLY NOT #EVERYTHING

#MusicTraces with @MacNueldavids – Getting On The Right Wheels

Getting On The Right Wheels

…Promptness and Preparing Rightly

In This month of March i’ll be having for the very first time, a Discussion Series on Song Diffusion And Publicity.

It’s a series that exposes us to the basic elements required to publicize your song and have it trending on Top Blogs and social media platforms.

Today we begin the very first session of the series as we look at: Getting On The Right Wheels

Getting into promptness and preparing rightly.

It’s not Ok to plan without execution. Timeliness works in sync with other variables when it comes to song Publicity.

The Media is the trending platform for all marketing activities. The Internet is a platform bigger than the world, only a few people explore it. The chain is Internet – Media – Arts – Music

You have to be good in one to operate in the other.

The Media which is a part of Internet has over the years metamorphosed into what is fondly called “The Internet Brain Box” this is because, nothing passes through the Internet, without having some unit of the Media.

The trend of music over the years is a conglomeration of art, music and media. Yes or No, Exceptionalism is far from artists who fail to understand this basic facts.

For People in the music industry, The Internet is a platform for offline performances. If you pay less attention to it, it becomes a mess, and you get faced out. It’s a no joke arena! You’ve got to have some really good stuffs to offer and not just junks.

Because the Internet and Media  is open to everyone, it is also exposed to different contents – Good or Bad. If you’re to get on it, ensure that you put in a lot of work in your materials and all that is required to be relevant in it.

Frank Edwards (Gospel Artist) for the past ten years have been doing great stuffs. People look forward to his songs and albums on the Internet because of his consistency and commitment to be dropping Really “GOOD” sounds.

When you’re preparing to storm the Internet and Media with your song, be sure of what you want and how you want it. Professionalism comes with a lot of commitments and until you’re ready, you can’t maximize it.

From the build up before you hit the Studio, you’ll need to have a detailed Preference scale. This will help you scrutinized the activities you get involved in, and help you plan your expenditures.

The Preference Scale will help you know the kind of people to work with and the feasibility of your budget. Doing music is not cheap and it’s an investment with little or no returns.

What traditional artists do is they allow a lot of things on their minds when they about to release a single but The whole Concept of the Song, The Photoshoot Session, The Art Design, Publicity On Blogs, Etc, ought to have been planned from day one even before writing the song in most cases.

Conclusively, Know what you want and get informations on how to get it done. Excellence is not cheap, you’ll have to pay the price and get to the top.

Prepare on time, get every thing well planned and ensure that execution is always prompt. No one is successful without adequate preparation for greatness.

Good afternoon everyone!

Welcome to yet another Tuesday of Music Traces!

I hope you’re having a great day, and you’re having a great time carrying out all your endeavors.

Music Traces still to hold Every Tuesday in the Month Of February!

The month is half-gone already!

Ensure you always connect and get career transforming insights.

We’ll be talking about “Excellence Is A Chance”

The truth is every artist craves for a platform. But because we all don’t want to cheapen our crafts, by asking for those platforms, we pray and practice silently for the opportunities to come which is ideal to do.

The essence of rehearsals and practicing is to accumulate skill and flexibility, making your craft ready for a “showcase” of what have been secretly rehearsed and practiced.

The real essence of rehearsals is to display excellence. When you rehearse you want to increase you skill and make yourself ready for a future performance.

On last weeks edition, I said Excellence is not enjoyed or perceived by the artist, rather it is made for the audience. You don’t eat your cake and have it Literally.

Excellence is an accumulation of constant growth. To display Excellence, you need platforms, when you get these platforms, that is when you dish out what you have been practicing behind the scenes.

To Earn the tag “Excellent Performer” is one of the cravings of an artist. But this cannot be earned without investing time to navigate your performance needs.

Sometimes A single performance can earn you the excellent tag, but on the long run you’ll need a couple of excellent performances to grow and stay relevant in the industry, Both Locally and in diaspora.

In this month of February, All the discussions if you have following have been evolving around Constant Rehearsals, Excellence and Lasting Growth. This is because there’s a mindset every artist should have, either a start up or a veteran

On each performance, you don’t know who’s sitted in the crowd listening/Watching your performance.

It could just be someone who believes in your dream, ready to invest in your craft. That’s how often you should be ready to display Excellence when you perform.

Conclusively, It’s true Opportunities comes once in a long time, but think about the fact that you can create an opportunity for yourself by making yourself ready at any time you’re been called upon. On a Final Note, Rehearse to be Excellent!

What a great session we had today!

thank you for being part of todays session. It’s always a privilege for me to share great insights with you all.

music tracess

Good Afternoon Guys!

I trust you’re having a great day cos’ I am.

It’s such a great opportunity to share great insights with you again!

It’s Another Edition Of Music Traces!

Just Incase you missed last week edition of Music Traces don’t worry, a recap of “Platform Begets Growth” Conversation  is just a click away.👇🏾

We’ll be talking about “Growth Begets Excellence”

Every Artist wants to be exceptional in their craft and it’s delivery. Getting platforms is good and if you’re deliberate about your growth and professionalism, you ought to figure out your strengths and weaknesses.

Your Musical Growth and the Excellence your Musical Career Portrays are two separate walls.

Until you start to clearly monitor them separately, you can’t tell which is doing well because you’ll

end up mistaking one for the other.

The continental view of growth is an increase in size or quantity.

Growth comes as a result of a specified targeted action that determines the end result of a cause.

Which means not everything grows positively. You can grow negatively in the growth process.

Growth doesn’t only appreciate. It also deteriorates. Growth appreciates when there’s an excellent mindset towards all performances, on all platforms. Growth is at a deteriorating state when performances are not done with the mindset to portray excellence.

Growth doesn’t only appreciate. It also deteriorates. Growth appreciates when there’s an excellent mindset towards all performances, on all platforms. Growth is at a deteriorating state when performances are not done with the mindset to portray excellence.

Growing excellently is not at a shot.

There’s an opening in the circles of growing rightly that shoots you to excellence. You have to constantly Grow in the Right direction to portray excellence.

Excellence is an accumulation of constant growth that is right.

If you’re a person of excellence, Every note you sing carries an expression of your personality.

If you have a consciousness of excellence, it will definitely find expression in your performances.

Excellence is a part of the artist, but it’s not for the artist. An artist doesn’t enjoy the bearings of an excellent performance – in a sense, the artist makes his excellent performances available for audience to observe and tag “Excellent”.

Consistency is the major bolt that drives excellence. If you can’t keep at it, growing it at every given opportunity, it goes out of the rail and craft looses it’s Value!

Conclusively, the only way to be a creative artist or singer is when when you grow your brand, style, niche, vocals, delivery positively and when all these are carefully grown, it yields fruits of excellence.

It was a great session today, thank you for being part of todays session. It’s always a privilege for me to share great insights with you all.

MUSIC TRACES with MacNuel Davids – Platform Begets Growth

Just Incase you missed last week edition of Music Traces don’t worry, a recap of “Heights Not Feets” Conversation  is just a click away.👇🏾

We’ll be talking about “Platform Begets Growth”

The journey to the top requires a lot of actions.

Growth is accumulative and for anyone whose work you admire today on any platform, have definitely been putting in a lot of work.

In our present day society, everyone thinks that you first of all get platforms to become great.

That’s why a couple of times people struggle on their way to the top.

You can’t plant a seed before you dig a hole.

Performing on platforms requires a lot of preparations and that is what leads to greatness.

Anyone who intends to be featured must first and foremost have a prepared mindset because rehearsing involves preparing your mind to Bless or Entertain People.

Today, We’ll be weighing up two key important Elements responsible for your growth:

  • Constant Rehearsals
  • Constant Exhibition

Do you get better by Constantly Rehearsing?

Or Do you get better by Constant Exhibition?

The effect of a rehearsal session goes beyond the performance on stage, but the accolades you get from the crowd is very temporal.

In preparation for an event, rehearsals helps you raise an edifice Of ideas especially if you’re to perform in an unusual event.

The importance of rehearsing constantly can not just be over emphasized.

Looking out for platforms is ok, but you’ve got to be ready! But have you thought of being ready without having anyone to perform in front of? That’s where #ConstantExhibition comes in.

Because all platforms requires being good at a level, You can’t get to these platforms without being good at a level.

You get platforms because of the skills you possess which is as a result of Constant Rehearsals – Practicing.

How often are you featured on events?

How often do you get invitations to perform?

Are you making the most of it?

Have you compared your performances?

All these and more paints a picture of how well your Rehearsals is paying off.

This is how you measure your growth.

Because you need platforms to grow doesn’t mean you should go about looking for platforms to perform. If you’re skillful, opportunities to perform on big platforms will definitely come knocking at different levels.

Nobody wants to see a flop on Stage!

Conclusively, One important thing to learn from today’s discussion is Rehearsals is a pathway to the top. But rehearsing without opportunities to perform is not greatness. It simply shows that your rehearsal sessions are still yet to pay off.

It was a great session today, thank you for being part of the maiden session of February Edition. It’s always a privilege for me to share great insights with you all.

Same time Next week we’ll talk about “Growth Begets Excellence”

Have An Excellent Week!
