About Jumoke
Olajumoke Omotoso is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, speaker, and entrepreneur . Professionally known as Jumoke, she grew up and lived all her life surrounded by music in her household and church. Hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. Jumoke had both parents, Mr Charles & Mrs Sarah Kokumo as musicians in their times back in the early 70’s till the dawn of the new millennium. She started singing at age 8 in her church children’s choir. Eventually, in 2011,she began her singing ministry.
Jumoke has released at least 6 powerful singles that has revealed how versatile she is in music. Her last single “ WAKA GOSPEL” (2020) sealed her status as the Gospel Waka Queen who is also excellent in other music genres. The song earned her wide recognition and also sealed her status as one of the best vocalists in the Nigerian Gospel music ministry.
Jumoke studied Business Administration at the University Of Lagos, Nigeria. She also has a distinction in Song Writing from the renowned Berklee Music School, Boston, USA.Jumoke is married and blessed with two children.
