With Valentine’s Day just a couple of days away Christian music recording artist Jlyricz releases his own Valentine’s gift to everyone especially the lovers. His latest project; Afro Love (Vol.1) is a collection of love songs which he says is dedicated to everyone involved in a romantic relationship and that includes married couples.

Concerning the project, Jlyricz who released his latest single; Na You Get Me” weeks back with CHH rapper Tobi Toun says; “The project was an afterthought but I am super glad how it came out. I had been playing with some melodies and two or three weeks ago, I thought it would be nice to just create something for Valentine’s. A small body of work lovers can vibe to and just have fun.”

The entire project is written by Jlyricz while production credit is shared between Emex (10 Minutes) and Somatrix (Do For Love & No Run Baby).

In all Afro Love (Vol.1) is a wonderful piece and would be worthy of all the replays it is sure to get.

The project is written through the eyes of a man in love with his lady/wife. The opener; 10 Minutes, sees Jlyricz playing the lover who pleades with his wife not to fall asleep but stay up and just play with him. The smooth Afrobeats/Dancehall tune is a superb groovy ballad.

Do For Love also see Jlyricz serenading his goofy partner as he talks about how drama while heaping praises on her for her qualities and beauty. The song which also sees the husband talking about the joys of making love to his wife in a subtle way that listeners might have to read between the lines is another smooth Afrobeats ballad.
