Jlyricz’s new single “Letting Go” is a Christian groovy Afropop praise/worship song that deals with the relationship of a clingy Christian who has learned to depend entirely on God. The song revolves around praise, adoration, thanksgiving, love and faith.
The opening line “God! Your love na the finest thing wey dey my life” sets the tone for the beautiful tune and it stays beautiful till the last note. “Why I go tell you bye-bye when na you get my life…”, also push that further with Jlyricz pouring out his heart over the bopping instrumentals produced by long-term collaborator E-Mex.
Letting Go is a tailor-made praise groove anthem which would primarily appeal to youths and the young at heart. It’s a song that will bop at a party, in the car and even at the gym while you run the treadmill or lift those weights.
