Nigerian gospel music minister and pastor, Yomi Ajayi unveils a brand new song titled “Teach Me To Fear You.”

The prayer song is borne out of a growing walk with God while exercising a conscience void of offence towards God and man. This yearning shuns smartness and cleverness that oppose the true, pure and peaceable wisdom of God. It is simply zeroing on what’s most important in the entire purpose and pursuit of man.

Pastor Yomi quotes Ecclesiastes 12:13 buttressing the motivation behind the song, “…the whole duty of man is to fear of God.”

“As the blessing of the Lord makes rich so also the fear of the Lord makes wise indeed. God won’t say NO to those who humbly dare and courageously ask- “Teach me to fear You” in this lawless generation.” – He adds

This piece in writing plus the sound is reflective in music style and genre uncommon with everyday music.

The song creates an ambience of soberness that longs for God in order to know, love, seek, honour and worship Him like never before.

It stirs passion and commitment to a daily walk with God.

It’s a cool rock feel irresistible to the soul cracked by distinct but sensitive vocal flow all the way as Yomi expressed.
