HOW WE GROW IN THE LORD
-Pastor Ogechi

1 Peter 2:2 (NLT), “Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.”

There is just so much in God for you to enjoy! The more you grow in God, the more of Him and His provisions in Christ you will enjoy. Our anchor scripture is loaded with so many mind blowing revelations.
Look at these: “Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation…” So even though you have been saved, you need to grow into the full experience of your salvation! Also the Bible says: Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.” Dear friend, don’t just stop at what you have tasted, cry out for more nourishment that will cause you to grow so you can enjoy much more!
This is how we grow: Proverbs 2:1-2, “My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands with you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding…” 1. Always set your ear to hear God’s word. 2. Always position your heart in readiness to apply what God’s word says to you!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Peter 3:18, “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.”

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS; I AM GROWING IN THE LORD. I HAVE SET MY EYES TO BE ATTENTIVE TO GOD AND MY HEART IS READY TO DO EVERYTHING GOD’S WORD DECLARES. I WILL TASTE MUCH MORE OF GOD’S GOODNESS.

ACTION POINT: Become a doer of the word of God!

ONE YEAR BIBLE PLAN: Exodus 39-40; Matthew 23:23-39
