THURSDAY 29TH

PRAYER, CONFIDENCE AND PATIENCE
-Pastor Olumese

Luke 18:1 (AMPC), “Also [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up)”

If we must see the kind of results that God wants us to see in prayer, we must realize that confidence and patience must be in place as we pray. Prayer that produces results is a press. We’ve got to press through the barriers set up by the devil and his agents to hinder our prayers as we press into what God has already prepared. As you pray on any issue, Jesus is telling you, “don’t give up or lose heart!”
In Daniel 10:12-13, we see Daniel press through the blockage of the prince of Persia to receive answers from God after 21 days! We are told that God heard him on the first day, but he still needed to press on in prayer. Hebrews 6:12 says, “That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
As you pray through issues, make your prayer loaded with faith! Do not have short burst of faith that begins to waver when things seem to take a bit longer. Marry your faith with patience so that you can stand strong in prayer until your result is in your hand!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Thessalonians 1:4, “So that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in (spite of) all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure.”

CONFESSION: I BODLY CONFESS, I HAVE FAITH AND PATIENCE TOWARDS GOD WHO ANSWERS PRAYERS. I REFUSE TO LOSE HEART WHEN I HAVE TO PRAY OVER AN ISSUE FOR A WHILE!

ACTION POINT: Encourage yourself with substance of your testimony which you have found from God’s word!

ONE YEAR BIBLE PLAN: Ezekiel 35-36, 2 Peter 1
