TUESDAY 27TH

THE BIBLE IS A BOOK OF GOD’S PROMISE
-Pastor Olumese

Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”

The Bible is not like any other book you will ever find. The Bible is the inspired word of God to His children. Talking about the Bible, Apostle Peter in 2 Peter 1:21 said, “For prophecy (of scripture) never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”
The Bible is not the narrative of mere men. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 (NLT) says, “Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received His message from us, you did not think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God – which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe.” You ought to receive what you read from the Bible by faith as the word of God! God’s word is loaded with divine promises for you. Our anchor scripture for today is one of such promises of God’s abiding presence even in the midst of danger and trouble. Believe the Bible and you will begin to enjoy its benefit.

FURTHER STUDY: Mark 9:23, “Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, I NO LONGER SEE THE BIBLE AS A MERE BOOK. THE BIBLE CONTAINS GOD’S PROMISES TO ME. AS I STUDY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS, I RECEIVE FAITH AND I RECORD MANIFESTATIONS.

ACTION POINT: Stand in faith until you see God’s promises fulfilled!

ONE YEAR BIBLE PLAN: Ezekiel 30-32; 1 Peter 4
