Gospel music minister, Francis Ogude has released a new reggae anthem titled “Greater Love”.
“Greater Love” is an expression of what our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ went through for the salvation of mankind. It talks about the shame He suffered because of me. For what He went through for my sake, I have no option but to follow Him till He comes back for me. It is rendered both in Isoko and English languages.
Francis Ogude hails from Ozoro in Isoko North LGA of Delta State, Nigeria. He attended the prestigious Notre Dame College, Ozoro, and proceeded to the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained his first and second degrees.
His journey into music dates back to the 80s and served as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the defunct Black Identity Band in the late 80s. Francis Ogude has proven to be a lover of good music, no matter the genre, and this fact is evident in his songs.
“Greater Love” is a song that was written in the year 2000. The inspiration came at the moment he felt again the agony and shame Jesus had to suffer for the salvation of his soul. He is married to his lovely wife and has two wonderful children. He is a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
“Greater Love” is available on all streaming platforms;
