Princess anne Inyang is a popular songwriter, gospel minster who’s songs are blessing lives for some years now.
She said: This song was inspired by the unmerited, unfathomable, incomprehensible things God has been doing in my life.
I adapted the style of writing the song from mimicking the way my Akwa Ibom people speak, in terms of always adding English language to whatever they say. They find it difficult to speak their native language straight without mixing it with English. Very few of us can. So, the song in its simple lyrics conveys the message behind the song to any listener even if they do not speak Ibibio.
This is a song of thanksgiving and appreciation of God’s unmerited favour and love. While enjoying the music be aware of the interpretation: “This is from God’, not from man. I cannot comprehend these blessings! I am left wondering what I did to deserve God’s abundant blessings.”
