It’s only by your grace (eco)

it’s only by your grace (eco)
Where would I be if you didn’t had my back
See what you grace has done
Your the reason why I sing this song oh
Chorus
Jesus you’ve been good to me
To me , to me ,to me ,to me
To me Jesus you’ve been good to me
(2x)
Solo 2
Father I give you the praise
for all you done for me
My life is a testimony
To you all praise is due
The joy that I have, the world didn’t give it to me
The world can’t take it away
Oh it is joy unspeakable
Where would I be if you didn’t had my back
See what you grace has done

wp-image--1651483938
Just Incase you missed last week edition of Music Traces don’t worry, a recap of “Heights Not Feets” Conversation  is just a click away.??
RECAP OF HEIGHTS NOT FEETS
We’ll be talking about “Platform Begets Growth”
The journey to the top requires a lot of actions.
Growth is accumulative and for anyone whose work you admire today on any platform, have definitely been putting in a lot of work.
In our present day society, everyone thinks that you first of all get platforms to become great.
That’s why a couple of times people struggle on their way to the top.
You can’t plant a seed before you dig a hole.
Performing on platforms requires a lot of preparations and that is what leads to greatness.
Anyone who intends to be featured must first and foremost have a prepared mindset because rehearsing involves preparing your mind to Bless or Entertain People.
Today, We’ll be weighing up two key important Elements responsible for your growth:

  • Constant Rehearsals
  • Constant Exhibition

Do you get better by Constantly Rehearsing?
Or Do you get better by Constant Exhibition?
The effect of a rehearsal session goes beyond the performance on stage, but the accolades you get from the crowd is very temporal.
In preparation for an event, rehearsals helps you raise an edifice Of ideas especially if you’re to perform in an unusual event.
The importance of rehearsing constantly can not just be over emphasized.
Looking out for platforms is ok, but you’ve got to be ready! But have you thought of being ready without having anyone to perform in front of? That’s where #ConstantExhibition comes in.
Because all platforms requires being good at a level, You can’t get to these platforms without being good at a level.
You get platforms because of the skills you possess which is as a result of Constant Rehearsals – Practicing.
How often are you featured on events?
How often do you get invitations to perform?
Are you making the most of it?
Have you compared your performances?
All these and more paints a picture of how well your Rehearsals is paying off.
This is how you measure your growth.
Because you need platforms to grow doesn’t mean you should go about looking for platforms to perform. If you’re skillful, opportunities to perform on big platforms will definitely come knocking at different levels.
Nobody wants to see a flop on Stage!
Conclusively, One important thing to learn from today’s discussion is Rehearsals is a pathway to the top. But rehearsing without opportunities to perform is not greatness. It simply shows that your rehearsal sessions are still yet to pay off.
It was a great session today, thank you for being part of the maiden session of February Edition. It’s always a privilege for me to share great insights with you all.
Same time Next week we’ll talk about “Growth Begets Excellence”
Have An Excellent Week!

Music Traces: “Heights Not Feets” with MacNuel Davids.

0

Today We’ll be talking about “Heights Not Feets” An interaction that explains Focusing on what’s important to your artistic future, doing away with pride and embracing humility.
Over the years, Music Artists have ignorantly been carried away by temporary things, forgetting the precious stones ahead of them. At one point of everyone’s career, distractions are bound to come your way. It is wisdom if you get focused on your journey to the top. As an artist always be careful and don’t be too anxious to place success tags on your endeavors because that hinders both your internal and external growth, especially when you place the tags wrongly. Building your empire requires so many things and so much time all together, yet it takes just few things to bring down that which has already been built. The Present day Clothing of Artists is “PRIDE”. It has eaten up 3/4 of Majority of Up & Coming Artist. Pride is a souvenir that comes with achievements, wise people don’t give in to it. I’m not against priding in what you do, but you ought to also know that little stones makes the soup sandy.
Pride in Anyway Kills Faster Than poison. Let me point this out here; As an Up and coming artist if you think because you have a hit single or multiple hit singles, or because you have an album, you’re better off, You have a shallow and Myopic understanding of the industry you want to dominate in. Having mind blowing single songs released is always awesome. But that is just a means to an end and not an end in itself. Capitalizing on it as an “achievement” is signing out your industrial relevance. Not every artist get away with pride in their veins. There are few lucky ones around that made it to limelight. but why would you rather want to strive to be lucky when you can Glory into your dreams without a hitch of pride. Humility is an important element you need to ingest, Imbibe and make your Per-Second Friend. A lot of benefits are attached to it and only few patient people are beneficiaries of the fruits it produces. Humility is an important element you need to ingest, Imbibe and make your Per-Second Friend.
A lot of benefits are attached to it and only few patient people are beneficiaries of the fruits it produces. No matter how long a lizard tries to stay in water, it can never become a crocodile. Hanging around “A” list Artists, taking selfies with them & having a relationship with them won’t make you fulfilled. You’ve got to work on yourself & fight your way to the top to be like them. You’ve lost it all the moment you begin to belittle any artist within your domain, instead, create a friend-zone, share ideas and rapport as often times as you should. It’s more exciting when you grow and celebrate each other. Conclusively, don’t ever think you’re better off your contemporaries. Your Released singles, Invitation to Perform on Great PlatForms and relationship with Top Level Artists are of little significance to your growth. Your priority should be getting better by the day.
The music industry, there’s never a finish line. Where you call top level today will be tagged ground level tomorrow. Be Humble and have a big picture mentality. Resist What is Temporal, Go for what would Stand the Test of time. It was a great session today, thank you for being part of January’s Edition.
It’s always a privilege for me to share great insights with you all. Same time Next week we’ll talk about “Platforms begets Growth” Have A Most Productive Week! MusicTraces
