“And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?” Judges 6:14 KJV
Beloved, even in the midst of your seeming limitation, there is might inside you that you need to release. The way to release it is to run with the Word. Don’t come to church every day and just hear the Word of God. What God expects you to do is to advance your life with the Word. The Word has the ability to produce and the extent to which it produces depends on the soil that is receiving the Word. If the soil is hardened and not open to receive the Word that seed will die. In the same congregation where others come, probably once in a year, latch unto what they are hearing, run with it and produce results; you would be wondering what happened to you. Nothing happened! The difference is the soil. Every seed that God gives to us is supposed to produce after its kind.
Go in this thy might and dream big. Do you know that God has an intention that your dream should outlast you? In other words, when you are gone the dream is still speaking. Bro Mike what does that then mean? It means to dream big! Stretch yourself beyond what you can achieve. Look beyond what you can achieve. Make plans beyond what you can achieve and put God in motion on your behalf.
God said to Gideon go in this thy might and he went. The same person that said I am poor, my parents are poor, my name is poor, everything written about me is ‘poor,’ rose up and went. And I love what he did afterwards. If you read the account, you will notice that he destroyed the foundation that kept him down. He destroyed the evil altar in the family and raised another altar. In other words, if there exists any altar in your life which is not God’s, destroy it!
