DON’T STOP YOUR PRAISE YET

2 Chronicle 20:22, “Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.”
The year is already moving with full steam. Today is the last day of the first month. May be you have already started to face challenges at work, in your family or at school. Resist the temptation to lose the joy with which you started the year. Maintain your praise and keep expecting and declaring that this 2019 will be your best year yet!
In 2 Chronicles 20:12 (NLT) we see a situation of helplessness that God’s children sometimes face. They said, “O God, won’t you stop them? We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We do not know what to do but we are looking to you for help.” In the midst of their perceived powerlessness, what they used as a weapon to overcome was praise. They went into battle singing and dancing and God stepped in and wiped out their enemies.
Step into the remaining part of 2019 with praise. Believe me when I tell you: you are about to share a testimony!
FURTHER STUDY: Habakkuk 3:17-18 (MSG), “Though the cherry tree don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen, Though the apples are worm eaten and the wheat field stunted, though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, (yet) I’m singing joyful praise to God.”
CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, I HAVE FOUND MY WAY OUT OF TROUBLE. I WILL NOT WAIT UNTIL THINGS ARE PREFECT TO PRAISE GOD; NO, I WILL PRAISE AT ALL TIMES.
ACTION POINT: Make today a praise full day!
