SUDDENLY, YOU SHALL LAUGH

Psalm 126:1-3 (MSG), “It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Zion’s exiles. We laughed, we sang, we couldn’t believe our good fortune. We were the talk of the nations – ‘God was wonderful to them!’ God was wonderful to us; we are one happy people.”
God has already begun a new chapter of glory with you. Your days of mourning are over! Our anchor text gives us a picture of what you should expect in your life every day for the rest of this year. It says, “It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God…” This month, God is going to start with you in such a most glorious way, you would think that you are dreaming!
Even if 2018 was loaded with challenges, begin this New Year with cheerful expectations. It is not time to throw in the towel. You cannot afford to quit on life now. Job 14:7-9 (NLT), “Even a tree has more hope! If it is cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches. Though its roots have grown old in the earth and its stump decays, at the scent of water it will bud and sprout again like a new seedling.” God is bringing you into a new season of productivity. Get ready to laugh!
FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 30:11-12 (NLT), “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent, O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!”
CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, GOD HAS BROUGHT ME INTO A NEW SEASON OF LIFE AND LAUGHTER. MY LIFE WILL BE LIKE A DREAM FULL OF GOOD REPORTS.
